How to Fix : DFS namespace the namespace cannot be queried, the specified server cannot perform the requested operation

If you ever encountered an issue with DFS Namespace management on your server, it can be like one of those moments where you are scratching your head and trying to find answers?

Today i encountered an error 'DFS namespace the namespace cannot be queried, the specified server cannot perform the requested operation'?

Basically any of the namespaces shares would error out and could not see any of the namespaces operational.

Here is a way around to fixing it

DFS namespace management runs four services in order for it to be operational.

Remote Procedure Call
Remote Registry
DFS Namespace
DFS Replication

Go to services.msc in start menu, check all four services are running, if they are not running then start them, alternatively, you can restart all the services to ensure they have a fresh start.
