How to block a specific URL fortigate 100d

To block a specific URL in your Fortigate 100D you will need to go to the following

Security Profiles > Web Filter > Go to the section Static URL Filter > Press the +Create to add your URL.




in the URL section type in your URL without the https:// or www
for example blockthissite.com

in the Type section select ''Reg Expression"

in the Action section select "Block"

Lastly, don't forget to apply/save the changes, test the URL to see if its blocked on your network.

Remove - Remove packages
Purge - Remove packages and config files
Autoremove - Remove automatically all unused packages
Dist-upgrade - Distribution upgrade
Dselect-upgrade - Follow dselect selections
Build-dep - Configure build dependencies for source packages
Clean - Erase downloaded archive files
Autoclean - Erase old downloaded archive files
Check - Verify that there are no broken dependencies for source packages
Source - Download the binary package into the current directory
Changelog - Download and display the changelog for the given package
