Ubuntu's Answer to CPUZ - How To Install CPU-G On Ubuntu 16.04
CPU-G - Tool for knowing your Processor,Motherboard,Memory System etc.
So if you have been looking for an equivalent to windows version of CPUZ for Ubuntu, here it is, its called CPU-G, CPU-G is a free and open-source CPU-Z fork that collects and displays information about your computer which includes CPU, RAM, motherboard type.
Its a simple information tool to show you what hardware you have inside your computer basically.
So included here today i will show how you can install it on your Ubuntu environment, for this example i am using Ubuntu 16.04.
Assume that you are not root, therefore added sudo at each command otherwise you can use the command without sudo at front if your are already super user.
1. Add the repository for installing the cpu-g
Sudo add-apt-repository ppa:atareao/atareao
2. Update the newly added repository.
Sudo apt-get update
3.Install the cpu-g package
Sduo apt-get install cpu-g -y
